Luxembourg's international airport, lux-Airport, is situated some 6km (3.5 miles) northeast of the city center and about 3km (2 miles) from the Luxexpo Exhibition and Congress Center. The lux-Airport website lists all flight connections for all airlines to/from the airport, as well information about parking, rental cars, and more. Several hotels in the vicinity of the airport and in the city also run shuttles to/from the airport.

Luxembourg city's central train station is situated 10 minutes walking distance from the city center and is connected to the Luxexpo Exhibition and Congress Center by bus line 18.

Luxembourg Local Transportation
Bus/train combination tickets are valid throughout the country.
A day-ticket costs €4 and is valid for an unlimited number of trips until 4 a.m. the day after first use (single tickets can be purchased from the bus driver). A set of 5 day-tickets costs €16 (a set/booklet can only be pre-purchased at various bus/train stations).
A short-term ticket costs €2 and is valid for two hours (single tickets can be purchased from the bus driver). A 10-ticket set costs €16 (a set/booklet can only be pre-purchased at various bus/train stations).
Public transport is free of charge with the tourist pass LuxembourgCard.
Useful bus lines for Med-e-Tel participants are:
- line 18: connects the central train station ("Gare Central") and Luxexpo (for Luxexpo, get off at "Parking Foire" or "Avenue John F. Kennedy")
- line 16: connects the airport to Luxexpo (for Luxexpo, get off at "Avenue John F. Kennedy"). This line also continues to the central train station ("Gare Centrale").
