Welcome and thank you for your interest to actively participate in the 15th annual Med-e-Tel.
Our diverse audience includes members from the government, industry, professional, and special interest sectors also. Each brings a perspective and insight of value to others. Med-e-Tel encourages healthcare providers, medical practitioners, nursing professionals, patient/user representatives, government officials, researchers, educators, and industry representatives to submit presentation proposals for the Med-e-Tel 2017 conference program.
For a list of topics, see the Med-e-Tel 2017 call for abstracts. Submissions on additional topics, relevant to the fields of Telemedicine and eHealth will be considered too.
Especially practical experiences, evidence of telemedicine/telehealth outcomes, business cases, as well as position papers, ongoing research, national/international policy guidelines and project results will be of interest to the Med-e-Tel audience.
The deadline for abstract submission is 4 December 2016.
Med-e-Tel 2017 takes place on 5-7 April 2017 at the Luxexpo Exhibition and Congress Center in Luxembourg. You are required to keep these dates available in your agenda until notified of acceptance of your proposal (by end of December 2016).
The submission of an abstract, carries with it the obligation to actually present it at Med-e-Tel 2017 (if selected). If you, as a submitter, or your co-author(s) may not be in a position to meet this obligation, please notify us upon submission of your abstract, so that we may find a suitable solution.
Once your abstract is accepted, you will be required to register for the conference as a speaker.
Note that you will be responsible for your own registration, travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses.
Accepted abstracts will be published on the Med-e-Tel website and also in the Journal of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (JISfTeH - www.jisfteh.org).
You will be given the opportunity to also provide a short paper for publication in the JISfTeH. This paper must be submitted by 31 January 2017 (more details will be provided after acceptance of your abstract).
Your PowerPoint presentation must be submitted in advance of the event (by 20 March 2017 - if presentations are submitted later than 20 March 2017, organisers decline any responsibility for omissions or mistakes in the uploaded presentations). Details will also follow after acceptance of your abstract. The PowerPoint presentation will be posted on the Med-e-Tel website.
If your presentation is scheduled as a poster, you will receive clear instructions about how and when to submit your poster (after acceptance of your abstract).
Note that a Best Poster Certificate will be awarded by a panel of judges (based on both content and graphic appeal of the poster).
By checking this box, I agree with the above procedures and conditions.
